Ratios, not marketing
Prey model means roughly 80% muscle meat, 10% edible bone, 10% organ: the proportions of a whole animal. Texas Tripe weighs each component rather than eyeballing a grind.
Flat $25 shipping to the seven western states, shipped frozen. Save $5 on a 24 lb box. Save $10 on a 40 lb box.
Why Raw
Whole-animal ratios, a short ingredient list, real rotation, sourcing you can trace, laboratory testing on every blend and a safety program behind it. Here is the whole argument, without the hype.

Most blends read like a butcher's order: beef, tripe, liver, kidney, bone. No grain, no pea protein, no flavorings, and no synthetic vitamin premix in the classic prey-model line.
Sixteen blends across eight proteins: beef, chicken, turkey, pork, duck, rabbit, salmon and tripe. Rotate to broaden the nutrient base or to work around a sensitivity.
Every protein is sourced in the USA from USDA-inspected processors, with no hormones or antibiotics. Beef comes from pastured cattle; seafood is wild-caught and USA-packed.
Texas Tripe uses the principles of a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program and implements HPP to reduce raw meat pathogens without compromising nutritional quality.

Inside the chub
The classic prey-model line is built from three parts and nothing else. Here is what each one is doing.
Exceptions, stated plainly: Beginner’s Choice runs 75/15/10 and suits puppies and active adults. Green Tripe is a single-ingredient topper, not a complete meal. Tex’s Beef Prey Model Plus is a fortified "Prey Model Plus" formula with an added vitamin, mineral, and fruit blend and a 3:1 calcium-to-phosphorus ratio.
